- Coaching videos
- The Griffith Public Library has a special display of the videos which will remain in place for the next
couple of months. A must see for any new coach looking for help, a parent just learning the game or
for a seasoned coach looking to improve a team. Take a look the next time you are at the library!
- Importance of Water
- The brain is the first thing in the body to dehydrate.
By the time a person is thirsty, they are already dehydrated.
Drinking moderately before, during, and after a practice or game,
helps improve coordination, reflexes and less overall injury.
This is also beneficial to asthmatics.
Even, mild dehydration makes a player slower and more prone to injury and tiring.
Response time is definitely better with water.
So when you see those cheeks get red and you hear the heavy breathing, give them a little water.
