Become a Coach or Assistant Coach
GSC is always in need of parents who are willing to coach a soccer team.
Coaching is a great way to participate in a shared interest with a child.
GSC provides training and background information for new coaches
through published materials and GSC sponsored clinics.
Sign up at Registration or contact the GSC at griffithsoccer@lycos.com.

Importance of Water
The brain is the first thing in the body to dehydrate.
By the time a person is thirsty, they are already dehydrated.
Drinking moderately before, during, and after a practice or game,
helps improve coordination, reflexes and less overall injury.
This is also beneficial to asthmatics.
Even, mild dehydration makes a player slower and more prone to injury and tiring.
Response time is definitely better with water.
So when you see those cheeks get red and you hear the heavy breathing, give them a little water.
