Players ages 6 and 7 play a short game 6v6 (5 field players and a goalkeeper). The Instructional League does not promote competition and no statistics or game scores are kept. All players receive trophies for their effort and participation. This is a coed league. Game duration – 2 x 20 minute halves Ball size – 3 Throw ins The teams and games may be co-ed. Fouls – all indirect Offsides – none Field size – Min 35L x 25W or Max 45L x 35W Athletic shoes or soft-cleated soccer shoes Baseball or other cleats are not allowed. No cleat may contain a front center spike. Shin guards are mandatory. Black socks can be worn over shin guards.
